What is Fred exactly?
Fred is an AI-powered virtual assistant that runs on a dedicated server, connects to your messaging app (Telegram, Discord, Slack), and works for your business 24/7. He can research, write, schedule tasks, monitor things, and take action autonomously. He remembers everything and gets better the longer you use him.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a chat window you open, ask a question, and close. It forgets everything. It can't take action. It doesn't run while you sleep. Fred is always on, remembers every conversation, runs scheduled tasks overnight, browses the web, sends messages proactively, and lives in the app you already use. ChatGPT is a tool you use. Getting started

Do I need any technical knowledge?
No. Fred is fully managed. We handle the server, the AI models, the updates, the security. You just message Fred on your phone and he works. If you can use Telegram, you can use Fred.
How long does onboarding take?
We set up your server and connect Fred to your messaging app within a day. Then you have an onboarding conversation where you tell Fred about your business. Most people are up and running with their first real workflow within 15 minutes.
What messaging apps does Fred support?
Telegram, Discord, and Slack. You pick whichever you already use. Fred works the same way across all of them. More channels are on the roadmap.
Can I try it before committing?
The founding partner pilot is 30 days. That's enough time to see real value. We don't offer a free trial because setting up a dedicated server takes real resources, and we want partners who are serious about using it.

How much does Fred cost?

What happens after the 30-day pilot?
We set ongoing pricing based on what we learn. You get first access and founding partner pricing. No surprise charges. If it's not working for you, you can walk away with no obligation.
Why is it more expensive than ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is $20/month for a chat window. Fred is a dedicated server running multiple AI models, with persistent memory, scheduling, tool execution, and proactive messaging. You're not paying for AI access. You're paying for a managed AI operator that handles real work.

Privacy and security

Is my data private?
Yes. Fred runs on a dedicated server for you alone. Your conversations, files, and business data stay on your server. We don't train on your data. We don't share it with anyone. It's yours. Read more about privacy.
Can Fred take actions without my approval?
Fred has a tiered approval system. Read-only actions (research, analysis) run freely. Write actions (drafting files) are logged. Execute actions (sending emails, running commands) require your explicit approval. Fred asks before doing anything risky.
What happens if I cancel?
Your data is yours. We can export your conversation history and files. Your server is decommissioned and data is deleted. No lock-in, no retention games.
